Weather could close Texas State for rest of week

Texas State University is closely monitoring the possibility of adverse weather conditions the morning of Thursday, Feb. 6 and Friday, Feb. 7.
A decision regarding Thursday, Feb. 6, activities on both the San Marcos and the Round Rock campuses will be made by 2 a.m. Thursday morning. If there are any changes to Texas State’s normal operating schedule, an announcement regarding this decision will be posted on the university webpage and at Bobcat Magazine and San Marcos Mercury.
A decision regarding Friday, Feb. 7, activities on both campuses will be made by 2 a.m. Friday and if there are any changes to Texas State’s normal operating schedule, an announcement will be posted on the same webpage, communicated via emergency text alerts and released to area media shortly thereafter.
On both days, decisions regarding scheduled athletic events will be made later and posted on the Bobcat Athletics website.
As always, Texas State faculty members, staff members and students should exercise their own best judgment regarding the safety of their own travel based on their local conditions.
